Meaningful, Individualized Treatment for Mental & Emotional Wellness

CHILDREN

We know that a child’s emotional and behavioral health is deeply connected to their relationships, environment, and earliest experiences. At Reach, we provide specialized care for children from infancy through childhood and adolescence by offering interventions aimed at strengthening bonds, building emotional intelligence, and fostering resilience.

  • Infant Mental Health

Even the earliest relationships shape a child’s development. Our infant mental health program focuses on supporting caregivers in understanding and responding to their child’s needs. We help strengthen the parent-child connection, educate caregivers in addressing negative behaviors, and promote secure attachment.

  • Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)

PCIT is an evidence-based treatment that helps improve the quality of the parent-child relationship and change patterns of behavior. A therapist coaches parents in real time through a wirelss earpiece while they interact with their child. The training, provided in a coaching model by our therapists, helps parents to build positive connections, improve cooperation from their child, and reduce the occurrence and impact of challenging behaviors.

  • Play Therapy

Play is a child’s first and most natural language, and toys are their earliest words used for self-expression. Through play therapy, children can express their feelings, work through difficulties, and practice coping skills in a safe and supportive space. This approach is especially helpful for children struggling with anxiety, behavioral challenges, grief, trauma or adjustments to change in their lives.

  • Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)

CPP is designed for young children who have experienced trauma, loss, or signifcant stress. Our therapists work with both the child and caregiver together to heal the impact of those experiences, rebuild trust, and strengthen the relationship. The therapist helps the family make sense of difficult events in ways the child can understand while also supporting a sense of safety and security.

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

TF-CBT is a structured, short-term therapy that helps children and adolescents recover from traumatic experiences such as abuse, accidents, violence, or loss. It combines trauma-sensitive interventions with cognitive behavioral strategies to reduce distress, improve coping skills, and help children make sense of what happened. Caregivers are actively involved in the process and learn how to support the child’s healing and resilience.

SERVICES

FAMILY

At Reach, we believe a strong support system can play a vital role in a client’s progress. Our family therapy services are designed to involve the important people in a client’s life - parents, siblings, caregivers, spouses, or other trusted supporters or caregivers - in a way that helps the identified client meet their treatment goals.

While we do not provide marriage or couples counseling, we do work with families to:

  • Improve communication and understanding

  • Reduce conflict and stress within the home

  • Strengthen healthy relationships

  • Build skills for supporting a loved one’s mental health needs

  • Create a shared plan for overcoming challenges together

We believe that when families learn to truly listen, speak with compassion, and stand together through life’s challenges, they not only strengthen their bonds but also create a foundation of trust and love that can carry them through any season of life.

TEENS

Adolescence and early childhood bring unique challenges - navigating self-worth and identity, relationships, academic or career pressures, and growing independence. At Reach, we provide specialized therapy that helps teens and young adults develop resilience, healthy coping skills, and confidence during these pivotal years.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps teens identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, manage emotions, and develop problem-solving skills for school and/or work, personal relationships, and life transitions.

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

TF-CBT supports teens in processing and healing from traumatic experiences while involving caregivers in their recovery process as appropriate.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR helps young people reprocess distressing memories or trauma and reduce the lingering impact of experienced trauma, anxiety or phobias.

ADULTS

Life’s challenges can take many forms - stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, or major life transitions. At Reach, we provide personalized, evidence-based therapy for adults aimed at helping you gain clarity, build resilience, and create meaningful change in your life for your ultimate goals and wellness.

Our therapists create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences and develop practical tools for moving forward in life. Together, we’ll work toward your goals with approaches proven to support healing and growth.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a highly effective, goal-oriented therapy that helps you identify and change unhelpful patterns in thinking and behavior. By learning new coping skills and healthier perspectives, you can reduce distress and take positive steps towards your goals.

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

While often used with children, TF-CBT can also benefit adults who have experienced trauma. This approach helps you process difficult memories, reduce trauma-related symptoms, and regain a sense of safety and control in your life.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a sepcialized therapy for people recovering from trauma, PTSD, or distressing life events. It helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they no longer trigger the same emotional intensity, allowing you to move forward with less distress.

  • Mindfulness-Based Interventions

By incorporating mindfullness practices, we help you learn to stay present, reduce stress, and improve emotional regulation. These tools can be integrated into daily life to support ongoing mental and emotional wellness.
